The research behind the app is a new branch of psychology - behavioural economics. It’s the study of how people make decisions and it’s based on observed human behaviour. The science proves that we are more motivated to keep what we’ve already got (e.g. money) than to strive for some goal in the future.

On average, people who use money this way are successful 80% of the time

The people who are effective 100% of the time get the change they want and it doesn’t cost them a cent. For almost everyone else, they get their behaviour change, the cost is next to nothing and the money goes to a good cause.

Ben Raphael and Bret Treasure are both champion procrastinators. Bret has competed successfully at a national level and Ben represented China and Spain at the World Championships in 2015.
